Our Tandem Paragliding flight starts from Indrunag and ends at the Paragliding Landing Ground, Upper Dari.
Indrunag in Dharamshala is a renowned site for Tandem Paragliding sessions in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is basically a plateau that sits on a mountain, which means it’s a suitable site for paragliding. Normal paragliding flight lasts for 10 to 20 minutes, which includes take off from Indrunag at the altitude of 5010 feet from sea level and landing at Paragliding Landing Ground, Upper Dari, Dharamshala which is 4130 feet from sea level.
Paragliding weight limit is 20-95 kg, if weight is between 95-115 kg the paragliding team charges an extra INR 500/-. Again, the decision varies person to person and it is up to the team’s discretion to allow paragliding for the person.
The cost includes travel insurance, covers medical evacuation, hospitalization, baggage insurance as well as trip cancellation. The cost also includes videography on GOPRO. The safety of our clients has always been important, hence we do not allow any mobile photography. But we understand that you would want to document such a spectacular experience. Hence we have the facility of videography or photography using the pilot’s GOPRO.
Paragliding is a sport that depends a lot on the weather conditions. Hence the timings vary day to day. While some days paragliding is possible all day, some days are just not suitable for it. Please keep this in mind.

Is it safe to Paraglide in McLeodGanj?

A healthy person between the age of 14-65 is permitted to undertake paragliding, under the condition that their weight is below 105kg. Pregnant women and persons suffering from heart diseases, asthma, etc. are not permitted to undertake paragliding.

- Train – Dharamshala is connected to Delhi and many other North Indian cities. The nearest railway station being the Pathankot train station which is 85km away. You can hire a cab from the station to reach Dharamshala.

You can visit it to experience the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at sunset. The best time to visit will be monsoons when the lake is filled and the surroundings are lush green.
Bhagsu Waterfalls, another scenic beauty of Himachal Pradesh is located 3km away from Dharamshala. It is near the Bhagsunag Temple and a small trek leads you to this quaint waterfall. The summers may not be the best season to visit this place as the waterfall reduces to a trickle. But if you do visit, you will enjoy the view and the cafes that line up with food and fun around the waterfall.
